Este año con motivo del aniversario de la fundación de Guadalajara se realizó un festival de luces en el centro de la ciudad.
Empezando desde la catedral hasta el hospicio cabañas.
Lo más impresionante fue el espectaculo de la Esfera de Luz y el show de pirotecnia realizado en el Teatro Degollado en el cual también hubo proyección de imágenes alusivas a la fundación de Guadalajara.

En los pasillos entre los edificios hay exposiciones de luz con tiras de LED, además unos cubos de luz que hacía que los edificios tomarán formas interesantes.

En el hospicio Cabañas se realizó una proyección de imágenes alusivas al monumento con música y calidad de audio excelentes, en un costado del mismo se realizó un performance de teatro y canto de canciones tradicionales.
